Weekly Sunday services begin September 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Charlotte Avenue YMCA.
On September 20 at 10am, we open our doors to the public for the first time as we begin weekly worship services and kids ministry.
Save the date for now, and come back closer to Launch Sunday to pre-register and let us know you’re coming.

Gathered worship is the most influential moment in the life of the church. What we do on Sundays shapes how we live Monday through Saturday.
At Hill City, here’s what you can expect on a Sunday morning.
Our musical style is contemporary, but the songs we sing are a blend of old and new. Our services will feel immediately relevant, but include liturgical elements that are sometimes two thousand years old. This is a feature, not a bug, as we seek to learn from and continue in the great traditions of biblical and church history.
Our sermons will usually be expositional, verse-by-verse studies of books of the Bible. Sometimes we will preach on important pastoral or cultural topics from a biblical worldview. Every sermon will be grounded in God’s Word, and aimed not just at growing in knowledge of the Word, but being transformed by the renewing of our minds.
At Hill City, we seek to worship God in Spirit and Truth (John 4). Our expectation is that every worship gathering is an opportunity to encounter God in powerful ways. At the same time, we recognize that worship is not primarily about our feelings or experiences, but about glorifying God and being formed into the kind of people who worship Him every day of the week.
Kids are always welcomed at Hill City. We have intentional programming for babies through 5th grade every Sunday morning where children can grow in their understanding of God’s Word in age-appropriate environments with trusted, trained adult volunteers. For mothers with infants, a dedicated Mother’s Room is available. We also have kids activities for any children who attend service with their parents.
Beginning September 20: We meet on Sundays at 10am at the Charlotte Avenue YMCA in Rock Hill.
Check our upcoming events for other ways to connect prior to Launch Sunday.
We have a nursery and kids programming for all children birth through 5th grade. Babies and children up to 3rd grade will get checked into their classrooms prior to the start of service, and can be picked up after service with the appropriate security tag. 4th and 5th graders check in before service, but attend the first part of the adult worship service before being dismissed right before the start of the sermon. This allows older elementary students to begin learning how to transition into the life of the whole church while still receiving age-appropriate teaching from God’s Word.
Our services begin at 10am and last about 90 minutes. Come early to ensure you are able to fellowship, check in kids, and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Services will generally start with announcements, Scripture reading, worship, and liturgical elements, such as the reading of a creed, corporate prayer, or call-and-response Scripture reading.
After that, one of our pastors will preach a sermon from the Bible aimed at helping you know the Scripture, know God, and apply truth to your everyday life.
In response to the proclamation of God’s Word, we worship, pray, and take communion together. At Hill City, communion is available to all baptized believers in Jesus Christ.
Services typically end with the singing of the Doxology.
We have registrations for many of our pre-launch events, but they are never required for attendance.
When Sunday services start, we will have the option to register prior to attending in order to speed up the process of kids check-in and to ensure we have enough room and volunteers to accommodate everyone. Again, these are not required to attend -- they might just make your life easier on Sunday morning!
We are a “come as you are” kind of church. Dress however you would normally dress.

We currently do not have live streaming options for worship, but every sermon is posted on our Youtube page the following week.
